The prohibitory orders issued on January 24 under Section 144 of the CrPC to prevent the screening of the movie were revoked across the state. The deadlock was broken following a four-hour-long tri-partite meeting between the filmmaker, various Muslim organizations and the government at the state secretariat on Saturday.

Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, B S Yeddyurappa on Thursday said that he is confident of forming the government after the next elections. The Karnataka Janatha Party will get a majority and will form the government, Yeddyurappa said at a press conference in Bangalore.

He addressed the press after 13 former BJP, MLAs formally joined the KJP. The 13 legislators had resigned and also given up their primary membership of the BJP yesterday.

Yeddyurappa did not indicate if there would be more exodus from the BJP into his party, but added that those who wished for the betterment of Karnataka were free to join him. On the survival of the BJP government in Karnataka, he refused to comment, but hinted that some more legislators may join him soon. Yeddyurappa also said that he would not be meeting with the Governor of Karnataka seeking a directive to the government to take a floor test. It is for the Governor to decide and we had met him earlier and told him our stand and also the position of the BJP government.

On the prospects of his party he said after the launch of the KJP, he had toured 115 constituencies and the response that he got was very good. After seeing the response, I have decided that the KJP will fight in all the seats in the forthcoming Karnataka elections.

9. Tomato Sauce – 2-3 table spoons
10. Soya Sauce – 1 table spoon
11. Chili Sauce – 1 table spoon (Optional)
12. Red food colour – 1 small pinch (Optional)
13. Oil – 2 table spoon
14. Salt – for taste

David is a 2013 Indian Hindi action-thriller film directed by Bejoy Nambiar, starring Vikram, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Vinay Virmani in the titular roles, alongside Tabu, Lara Dutta, Monica Dogra and Isha Sharvani. An altered version with the same title David featuring a slightly different cast was simultaneously shot in Tamil. The plot revolves around the lives of three different men named David, who are about to take a step which is going to change their lives forever.

The film opened to a poor response of 5% only and collected 50-60 lakhs nett on its first day. The 2nd showed a little growth of around 50% bringing up the 2 day total to 1.60 crores which is very bad for a film like David. Chances are high that film collects much money by this weekend. Compared to the trailer visit, the box office collection should go high.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is an upcoming 2012 Indian romantic film directed by Yash Chopra, his last direction and written and produced by Aditya Chopra under their production banner Yash Raj Films. The film features Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles, making it the first film to pair Khan and Kaif and the second collaboration between Khan and Sharma after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It is Yash Chopra’s fourth film to feature Shahrukh Khan in the lead role, the former returning as a director after eight years post Veer-Zaara in 2004. Jab Tak Hai Jaan marks Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture of his entire Bollywood career before his death in October 21, 2012, just days before the movies scheduled release in Diwali.

The background score and soundtrack is composed by A.R. Rahman while the lyrics are penned by Gulzar. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on the six-day Diwali weekend which begins on November 13, 2012.

A teaser trailer was released along with the theatrical release of Ek Tha Tiger as well as through the firm’s official YouTube channel on August 15, 2012. The 1:30 minute clip showed glimpses of Yash Chopra’s successful yet acclaimed directorial ventures and then highlighted his upcoming film. The trailer incorporated the preludes of the song Challa as the background music. Yet again, the film remained untitled as “A Yash Chopra Romance.” The teaser crossed over one million views in less than three days.

Yash Chopra’s 22nd film as director, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will release on November 13. He had announced his retirement from directing on his 80th birthday.

In Mumbai, Yash Chopra worked as an assistant with I S Johar and then with his brother B R Chopra. Two years later, he landed his first film as director – Dhool Ka Phool in 1959. His elder brother had given the film to O P Bedi, his chief assistant on Naya Daur. Yash Chopra, the junior assistant, got the job after O P Bedi left to direct another film. Dhool Ka Phool, a social drama starring Rajendra Kumar, became a critical and commercial hit.

Yash sir, RIP.

PRQ is owned by founders of the Pirate Bay, and was the target of a 2006 raid that took the Pirate Bay website offline due to copyright infringement allegations. Coincidentally, the Pirate Bay also went offline today. But this was apparently unrelated to the PRQ raid, as Pirate Bay no longer relies on PRQ for hosting. The Pirate Bay said on Facebook that it is suffering through a power outage. “We have not been raided. We are not shutting down. We like turtles, waffles, and you,” the Pirate Bay said.

PRQ confirmed today’s raid. The outlet has a long list of controversial clients including WikiLeaks and the North American Man-Boy Love Association, according to a Forbes article. But the websites taken offline by the raid seem to be restricted to file sharing and streaming sites, plus PRQ’s own site.

PRQ owner Mikael Viborg described the raid in an interview with Swedish news site Nyheter24, saying the police seized four servers, and that the raid was the first on the company since 2010.
